Waterfront Toronto unveiled plans to build a massive $800 million neighbourhood Thursday. The new neighbourhood will be called Bayside. This project will stretch along the water from Sherbourne St. to Parliament St.

Rather than building wider streets, the city plans to build wider sidewalks for pedestrians to reach mass transit within five minutes of their homes. No green city would be green without a lot of open space and new parks.
