The guests took a front row seat at the momentous groundbreaking of Backstage on the Esplanade, Toronto’s most exciting condominium project.

The setting for the groundbreaking could not be more spectacular: With the iconic CN Tower in thebackground, development partners from Cityzen, CastlePoint and Fernbrook, took part in a ceremonial sod turning at the same moment that a towering backdrop featuring a giant image of Backstage slowly rose from the ground.

“It was almost like Backstage was there for this important event,” says Alfredo Romano of CastlePoint Realty. Many of the building’s excited purchasers were on hand to raise a glass and share a toast with a celebratory “Backstage Cocktail” to mark the beginning of construction on their new homes.
